Meet Erica Dionn Wright
The world opens when you leave the room.
Travel designed to help you disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with yourself, your people, and the experience in front of you.
Start with the feeling
What are you hoping travel gives back?
The destination matters. The reason you need to go often matters more. Choose what sounds closest to where you are right now.
A journey that turns down the noise.
Slower mornings, fewer transitions and a thoughtful pace can create the distance you need from everyday routines. The goal is not to do nothing. It is to have enough room to notice what you are doing.
A favorite travel memory
Relaxing.
My mom, taking in a quiet moment in the sun. A reminder that travel does not have to be full to feel meaningful. Sometimes the experience you remember is simply having nowhere else you need to be.
Meet Erica Wright
Travel has always been how my life expands.
I was bitten by the travel bug at thirteen and have not really stopped since. I grew up outside Philadelphia, lived in Miami and England, returned to Pennsylvania when family needed me, and eventually chose a new chapter in Mexico.
Those places taught me that travel is not simply time away. It can change your perspective, deepen your relationships and remind you what deserves your attention.
I created Leave the Room Travel so planning the trip would not consume the life you are trying to step away from. You bring the desire to travel. I bring the research, recommendations and coordination that make getting there feel possible.
Choose a city to follow my story.
Where curiosity began
I grew up outside Philadelphia and caught the travel bug at thirteen. Leaving what was familiar showed me early that a different place can change the way you see your own life.
This or that
What kind of traveler are you?
There are no wrong answers. This is simply a quick way to notice the pace, places and moments that make travel feel most like you.
Why I do this
Design travel that gives something back.
I create thoughtful, well-paced journeys that help you reconnect with yourself, your people and the world around you. The S.L.O.W. values guide how I listen, research and bring the pieces together.
Simple
Clear decisions and a process that reduces noise rather than adding to it.
Local
Food, neighborhoods and experiences that help you connect with the place itself.
Organized
The important details are coordinated so there is still room for spontaneity.
Warm
Personal guidance that feels human, welcoming and attentive from the beginning.
Your advisor. Our backing.
Personal planning, strengthened by Fora.
I remain your personal point of contact. Fora expands what I can bring to the table through a global network of preferred relationships across hotels, cruises, villas, tours and experiences.
Those relationships can add meaningful value to eligible bookings, along with access to partner information, advisor support and the collective reach of a modern travel agency behind the scenes.
Complimentary breakfast may be included at participating hotels and eligible rates.
Priority upgrades may be available, typically based on availability at arrival.
Eligible stays may include property, dining, resort or spa credits.
Welcome amenities and partner recognition may add a more personal arrival.
Early check-in and late checkout may be offered when availability allows.
Preferred programs can open access to added-value rates and experiences at select partners.
We may travel well together
You want a trip with a point of view.
Leave the Room Travel is for travelers who care about how a journey feels, not simply how many places can fit into it.
You would rather experience more than schedule more.
You appreciate enough structure to feel prepared and enough breathing room to remain present.
You want the destination to feel real.
Local food, neighborhood character, cultural context and smaller experiences matter to you.
You want an advisor who listens before recommending.
The right trip begins with your priorities, comfort, relationships and reasons for going.
A few things you may be wondering
What it is like to work together.
The relationship is personal, the process is clear, and the larger agency support is there when it matters.
What does it mean that you are affiliated with Fora?
I remain your personal travel advisor. Fora is the modern travel agency behind my business, providing preferred-partner relationships, technology, training and operational support. On eligible bookings, those relationships may also unlock added benefits that are not available through every public booking channel.
Why work with an advisor instead of booking everything myself?
Because a good trip is more than a collection of reservations. I help you make choices around fit, pacing, location and logistics, then coordinate the pieces within the planning service you select. You still have a voice in every important decision without having to solve every detail alone.
Where are you based, and can we work together remotely?
I am based in Mexico and work with travelers remotely. The inquiry gives me the context I need to confirm that your destination, timing and desired level of support are a good fit.
How do we get started?
Begin with the trip inquiry. We will talk through what you are imagining, and I will recommend the right planning service, scope and fee. Planning begins after the scope is confirmed.
Be an Untourist.
Where do you need more room in your life?
Tell me where you are curious to go, who is coming with you and how you want the journey to feel.
Fora preferred-partner benefits vary by property, supplier, program and eligible rate. Upgrades, early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability. No perk is guaranteed unless it is specifically confirmed in the booking. Planning, booking and in-trip support depend on the service scope agreed before work begins.
