Travel planning without the second job

Choose the trip. Leave the planning load to us.

Whether you need one exceptional stay or an entire journey designed, I narrow the choices, coordinate the details and help you travel well without managing every moving piece yourself.

Choose your level of support

The right kind of help depends on the trip.

Some travelers know exactly where they want to stay. Others need a thoughtful shortlist, a professionally structured itinerary or complete journey design. Start with the support that fits where you are now.

Clear pricing. Clear scope.

Core planning fees are listed below. Complex journeys, groups and corporate travel begin at a published minimum and receive a final quote after consultation. Qualifying hotel and villa bookings are complimentary.

Before we plan

Questions travelers often ask.

How much does travel planning cost?

The Destination Lookbook is $195. The Itinerary is $595 for up to seven days or $795 for eight to fourteen days. Full Trip Design is $995 for up to seven days or $1,495 for eight to fourteen days. Complex journeys, private groups and corporate retreats begin at the starting prices shown on this page and receive a final quote after consultation. Qualifying hotel and villa bookings are complimentary.

Is booking through a travel advisor more expensive?

Hotel pricing is often the same as booking directly. Depending on the hotel and preferred partner program, advisor bookings may also include benefits such as breakfast, hotel credits or a welcome amenity. Upgrades, early check-in and late check-out are based on availability.

When should I start planning?

Ideally, begin four to six months before travel, especially for Europe, popular destinations, multiple stops or peak seasons. More complex or high-demand journeys may benefit from an earlier start. If your timeline is shorter, submit an inquiry and we can assess what is realistic.

What types of trips do you specialize in?

Leave the Room Travel focuses on thoughtful, immersive journeys, including Europe and the Mediterranean, boutique and luxury hotels, food and wine, cultural travel, honeymoons, cruises and meaningful trips with family or friends.

Can you help if I already booked part of the trip?

Yes, depending on what remains and the support you need. That may include itinerary design, activity recommendations, restaurants, transportation planning or the day-by-day flow. Existing bookings are reviewed during the consultation so the scope is clear.

Do you book flights?

I typically provide flight guidance and recommendations, particularly for international trips or premium-cabin travel. When appropriate, I may assist with certain flight bookings or coordinate flight timing with the rest of the itinerary.

Do you work with every travel budget?

Leave the Room Travel is best suited to travelers seeking boutique or luxury accommodations, thoughtful pacing and meaningful experiences rather than lowest-price or mass-market planning. Complimentary hotel and villa booking is generally intended for stays averaging $500 or more per night. If you are unsure about fit, the inquiry is the right place to start.

What happens after I submit the inquiry?

We begin with a consultation about the trip and your travel style. I then recommend the appropriate planning scope and provide any applicable fee. Once the scope is approved, design and coordination begin.

Be an Untourist.

Tell me what you want to get away from and what you want more of.

Where you are curious to go matters. How you want the journey to feel is where we begin.

Prices shown are planning fees unless otherwise stated. Complex journeys, private groups and corporate retreats are starting prices; the final fee is quoted after consultation based on scope and complexity. Complimentary hotel and villa booking is generally intended for properties averaging $500 or more per night. Additional group-management fees may apply when individual traveler coordination is required. Rush planning is accepted based on availability. Preferred-partner amenities depend on the property, rate and program; upgrades, early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Cruise planning fees, specific support and in-trip assistance are confirmed in the agreed service scope.
